Author Night (TBD) Help us create a series of events where we will share live readings by acclaimed novelists from the community.

Book Fair Event (Timing: June) In collaboration with the Communications Committee and our literacy specialist, make our Friends and Family Book Fair the best yet! Bringing together great stories and community. 

Capital Campaign (Timing: Fall) Each Year we reach out to our community and beyond to help us continue to grow. Our Capital Campaign provides funding for school capital projects emerging programs that push us forward. This committee coordinates with school events and runs the Annual Appeal. If you are organized and detail-oriented, this could be the job for you! Includes but is not limited to, monitoring address inputs from the community, organizing and producing our Annual Appeal, distributing tax donation forms. 

Classroom Parent (Timing: Throughout) Get to know your class on a whole new level! Help collect funding to support various events throughout the school year.  Act as the classroom point person to the Administration and Committee Leads for School news. 

Communications (Timing: Throughout) Get involved with both internal and external communication about our school. Including but not limited to, website updates, Edsby platform maintenance/training, public relations, and marketing. 

Community Outreach (Timing: Throughout) Help us connect and organize with the community, local grassroot organizations, and community leaders to support each other through mutual partnership.

Facilities Committee (Timing: Throughout) Help us get the building, materials, and activities in tip-top shape! Assist with special hands-on projects within the school building such as light carpentry, installations, painting, cleaning, moving furniture, and other various administrative and activity support. This committee will meet on site.

Grant Writing Committee (Timing: Throughout) Help the school identify and pursue federal, state, and private funding for our progressive educational and outreach programs.

Jog-a-Thon (Timing TBD) Do you love to run? Be part of the team that organizes our school jog-a-thon! This includes, but is not limited to scouting a location for the jog, organizing the sign-up, and managing fundraising.

Library Committee (Timing: Throughout) With support from the Literacy Specialist and Elementary Division Head, help with the upkeep of the library. This committee will meet on site.

Materials Room- (Timing: Throughout) Do you like to keep things tidy and functional? Join our Materials Committee and help maintain our awesome resources throughout the year. This committee will meet on site.

Parent Education (Timing: Throughout) Never stop learning! Organize and manage annual Parent Education sessions in collaboration with the school administration. 

Read-a-Thon (Timing TBD) Get everyone excited about reading and help organize the fundraiser that shows off our reading efforts!

Scholarship Gala Event (Timing: Winter/Spring)– Our biggest and best school event of the year! Proceeds from our Scholarship Gala support our diverse community through scholarships. Be a part of the action! From Sponsorship, Audio/Visual, and Auction- we need YOU to make this the best one ever! 

Story Night Event (Timing: April) Come and be a part of one of our most beloved events. Inspired by Moth, sign-up to execute a heart-wrenching, all inspiring event! Includes but not limited to, recruiting storytellers, flyer creation, and publicity.

Transportation (Timing: Throughout) Our students are on the go! Work with the administration to organize resources parents need to organize transportation. 

Technology (Timing: Throughout) Are you a techie? Can you maneuver your way through software and hardware alike? Join our Tech Committee. Responsible for all things database and digital support. 

Wellness (Timing: Throughout) Become a member of this wonderful committee and assist in the distribution of healthy snack options provided to all our students. This committee will meet on site.
