Our Program

Co-op Summer Camp is a joyful summer program for children ages 2–10, where play, creativity, and meaningful experiences come together each day. All campers enjoy live performances by local musicians, and other special entertainers. In addition to our themed enrichment activities, children spend ample time outdoors on our rooftop playground, which features climbing structures, sprinklers, and a hands-on teaching garden.

Rooted in joyful play and creative exploration, our camp blends themed enrichment, hands-on projects, outdoor time, and special guests to spark curiosity and confidence in every child.

Experiences Designed by Age

From weekly themed adventures for ages 2–5 to immersive, multi-week programs like Robotics, Theater, Capoeira, and Animation for ages 6–10, each group enjoys developmentally thoughtful experiences that grow with them.

Weekly themed adventures

Campers spend their days on our rooftop playground and garden, explore neighborhood parks, and older campers venture out on curated Brooklyn trips that extend learning beyond campus.

Weekly Themes Tailored to Every Age

The Co-op Summer Camp 2026 is a fun-filled and enriching program, running from June 15th through August 14th. Families have the flexibility to enroll for a single week, multiple weeks, or the entire summer.

Ages 2-5

Ages 2-5

Our youngest campers ages 2-5 have a variety of special enrichment classes, explore local playgrounds and enjoy visits from special guests, like local florists and firefighters.

Ages 6-10

Ages 6-10

Our 6-10 year old campers venture beyond the campgrounds, occasionally taking public transit to exciting destinations like the Brooklyn Museum and Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Camp Schedule & Options

  • Regular Camp Day: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, $685/week
  • Early Drop-Off: 8:15 AM – 9:00 AM, $10/day
  • Extended Day: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM, $45/day
  • Half-Day Camp (for ages 2-3): 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, $455/week

Discounts and Financial Aid

  • Register before February 15th for an automated 10% Early Bird Discount when you register for more than 1 week of camp
  • Siblings receive a 10% discount – if Sawyer doesn’t apply the discount code automatically please email summercamp@thecoopschool.org for assistance
  • If you are registering for Week 1 (June 14-19), use code JUNETEENTH26 for full-day camp or JUNETEENTH26HALF for half-day camp
  • A discount of up to 16% for select families who qualify. All Financial Aid applications must be submitted before May 31st. Recipients must complete an application via SSS using our school code: 901882
