The Co-op School embraces the economic, cultural, and ethnic diversity of New York City, striving to reflect it within our student body, faculty, and staff.

After-school care is available Monday through Friday until 6 pm at a rate of 13-15 dollars per hour. The exact rate will be determined once we know participation numbers. We must adjust staffing based on the number of students registered to determine that we can keep cohorts small. The confirmed hourly rate will be shared once registration is finalized.
Our Application Fee is $150.
Upon enrollment, each family is responsible for the following fees:
Joining Fee of $2,500.00 for new students and $1,250.00 for siblings of currently enrolled students.
(One-time new student joining fee of $2,500: This fee covers costs associated with processing enrollment, setting up student accounts, technology setup, and other administrative overhead, as well as providing necessary materials or services. It ensures a smooth onboarding process and supports the infrastructure needed to facilitate each student’s educational journey.)
Annual Administration Fee of $400.
(This fee is charged once at the beginning of the school year to all enrolled students. It contributes to the costs of daily snacks, classroom activities, expenses related to field trips, and hosting guest speakers, enriching the overall educational experience throughout the year.)
Annual Gala Fee of $650.
(This fee supports the planning and execution of the school’s annual Gala, a key community-building and fundraising event. Funds raised through the Gala directly benefit school programs and initiatives that enhance the student experience.)
* All fees and tuition are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
The Co-op School offers a 10% sibling discount to families with more than one student enrolled at the school.
Through annual fundraising efforts, The Co-op School is able to offer financial aid to some families who would not otherwise be able to join our school, and it is open to all prospective families. Families are notified about aid before the contracts are due. To apply for financial aid parents must complete a confidential application with School & Student Services. The application can be found here: Financial Aid Application.
