We had a great Town Hall today. We opened with an amazing skit performed by the AWESOME cast of some second grade actors and staff members. They gave us examples of people being compassionate AND people not being so compassionate. Afterwards we discussed all the ways in which we can be compassionate with each other. THEN, the INSPIRING Tigers (3rd grade) sang a Dan original about compassion. For the next 4 weeks, we will all be celebrating our compassionate spirits.
Compassion: We value and nurture the strength of character it takes to work together as a team, to be an individual, to respect differences of opinions, and have the ability to empathize with others.
