Summer Camp

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our summer camp is currently on hiatus. We will provide updates for summer camp in 2022–2023 when details are available.

Summer Camp Mission

For 17 years, The Co-op School has pioneered an engaged community- and project-led approach to learning. Students, staff, and parents contribute to the development of our unique culture. Our approach to summer camp is no different. At The Co-op School’s summer camp, you’ll find the same core values of joyful learning and community action that inform our school year-round adapted to summertime fun.

We Emphasize Community Action

We believe appreciating our world starts with understanding how things work and how we can get involved. With this in mind, we guide campers through the following tracts, all while offering a unique online experience that nurtures a personalized experience. From movie-making to debate to Spanish and Greek Myths, each day is a balance of fun activities, learning, wellness, and action.

Daily Structure

Each day, from 8:45 to 3:50, is structured in 50-minute sessions based on the following chosen tracks led by Co-op School staff. Each day also features other shared group activities, including an opening campfire, lunch with a podcast, social-emotional learning & mindfulness, movement, and yoga. Special tracks are designed for two groups, ages 7–9 and ages 10-13.
